How to Use This Digital Curriculum

Welcome to the combined Reader and Study Guide for the Perspectives course. This volume is designed for current students and alumni and brings together two separate books.

The Reader is a standalone mission textbook featuring contributions from over one hundred authors. The Study Guide leads students through the Perspectives course lesson by lesson, assigning texts from the Reader, which are grouped into 15 lessons.

In this combined ebook, the Study Guide and Reader are directly linked for easy navigation between lessons and readings, creating a seamless study experience.

Here are a few tips for using this ebook:

• Take note of the objectives at the beginning of each lesson and the related questions in the reviews before working through the lesson.
• When you reach the end of the assigned reading, use the link provided to return to the Study Guide lesson or continue to your next reading.
• When you encounter a sidebar (title and font change), skip over it and continue to the next link in the article.
• If you encounter a link to a lesson other than the one you are working on, just ignore it.
